The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office has booked a 22-year-old man with 4th Offense DWI among other charges. Deputies were dispatched to the 20700 block of Tucker Rd around 5:00 Saturday morning in reference to a man in a black truck passed out behind the wheel. Investigators arrived and were able to wake the man up and get him out of his vehicle, which was still running. He began fighting deputies and had to be restrained.  The man had a strong odor of alcohol and was having trouble walking when deputies took him to their patrol car. The man was identified as Joseph Seymore, 10554 Lovett Rd, Baton Rouge.  Seymore advised deputies that he had too much to drink so he pulled over in a driveway to sleep off the alcohol. He was taken to the nearest substation where he refused a breathalyzer test. Investigators found that Seymore had been arrested on 3 previous occasions for DWI . He was booked into the EBR Parish prison for 4th Offense DWI, Driving Under Suspension, Insurance Required and Registration Required.  His bond was set at $76,500.
